The Interfaith Council recently received a grant from the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities and Aramark to buy winter coats for kids in Sacramento!

Maybe during this holiday season as we go about our shopping, volunteering, and donating to charities, we can look at each other as individuals and see what changes in our perspectives are made.

Viewing other religions and comparing them to our own, we frequently use the Holy Days or holidays to separate religion by religion. Frequently Holy Days are either commemorating a birthday, an event from the past, or a special day in nature. 

“Happy Holidays” is a term used to acknowledge the Holy Days or Holidays of the various religions from November through the beginning of January.

Community! It’s something that people have been thinking about during the last 20 months. We have been separated and kept away from each other for our own and others’ safety.
