Last week was the feast of All Saints, where Catholics honor all of those who have been canonized and models of faith and have been significant in inspiring the current generation how to use the Beatitudes from Matthew’s Gospel to find joy, peace, and justice.

The recent events that have transpired in the Middle East have weighed heavily on our minds. The circumstances offer an opportunity to appeal for Peace.

Through our pain and sorrow over the events going on in Ukraine and Israel, still we have hope that peace is possible, through our efforts and belief.
