Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

Our most recent panel discussion, Exploring the Sacred, Generous Listening Series, explored the topic of Fear, Despair, Thankfulness, and Hope.  We had three panelists from different religions that talked about their connection with the Creator, how one wakes up with thanks upon her lips for waking to a new morning and how they work to transmit that thankfulness and hope to the next generation.

In my religion, the Baha’i Faith, we give thanks continually to God, for our existence, for the continual showers of blessings showered upon all peoples, for us having recognized Baha’u’llah, and much more.  Looking in my prayer book, I see the following:
“I give praise to Thee, O my God,”
“I give thanks to Thee, O my God,”
“I give Thee thanks,”
“I render Thee thanks,”
“I yield Thee such thanks,”

Let us, while being with family and feasting together, also give thanks to our Creator for all of the blessings showered upon us second by second by Him.
