The Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento, like everyone else, is deeply concerned about our local community. With unemployment rates soaring, the stress on our food banks is tremendous. One food bank in the Sacramento area reports seeing triple the need since January.
Many at this time feel helpless. This is the time for us to come together to help our community. The Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento is earmarking $500 for our local food banks. We are asking individuals, groups, and congregations to contribute to this Food Bank Relief Fund with a goal of $2,000! The deadline to contribute to our foodbank relief fund is May 15.
