Through our pain and sorrow over the events going on in Ukraine and Israel, still we have hope that peace is possible, through our efforts and belief.
Heartbreak, Heartache, Brutality, and Killing – When will it end?
The Interfaith Council wants to extend our deep, heartfelt sorrow and heartbreak at what’s going on in Israel and Gaza.
Let us turn our thoughts towards peace, hope, and calm. Mothers and children will be killed on both sides, and the injured and killed will be civilians on both sides. Pray for peace, pray for understanding, pray for unity, pray for calm, and talk about these things with your friends and family.
Wishing all of our Jewish Friends good fasting! Isn’t it interesting how many commonalities there are between the major religions? Fasting and charity being some.
3 1/2 years ago, an arsonist set fire to the Central International Fellowship Church on 16th Ave, and a congregation was left without their building. They thought it would only take a few months to rebuild, but between COVID-19 and supply issues, it’s taken this long to rebuild.
