On September 24th, 2022, the Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento had the opportunity to volunteer at Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento. The board members from different faiths came together and served lunch to the unhoused community members of Sacramento.

On August 27, the City of Elk Grove held its annual Multicultural Festival after a 2-year absence due to Covid.
Religious persecution is occurring more frequently in the world. People, if aware at all, would say, oh, yes, Christians are being persecuted all over the world.
It has been 10 long years since the Gurdwara in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, killed 6 people and wounded 4 others. These were devoted worshipers as well as family members whose only crime was attending their local Sikh temple to worship.
A dedicated group of volunteers has been keeping this Food Locker going through the pandemic every single week. They serve a huge amount of people.
