Welcoming the stranger is the tenet of all major faith traditions and part of the mission of the Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento.
We are asking you to step up with the ICGS welcoming the refugees coming to our region who have risked their lives working with the U.S. mission in Afghanistan. “They are stepping off the plane with next to nothing but their dignity, hope, and determination” states the International Rescue Committee. Join us a couple of ways in stepping up.
First, there are a group of organizations already working in Sacramento. They are:
- Opening Doors – a refugee resettlement agency
