Random Acts of Kindness
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. John 13:34
Love makes the world go around. In the Baha’i Faith, Baha’u’llah says, “Love is heaven’s kindly light, the Holy Spirit’s eternal breath that vivifieth the human soul. Love is the cause of God’s revelation unto man… Love is the light that guideth in darkness, the living link that uniteth God with man, that assureth the progress of every illumined soul…Love is the spirit of life…” Love is why God created us, love is what binds us together, and love is how we show each other our love of God.
This week of Random Acts of Kindness is about us deliberately showing others acts of generosity and kindness to show others we care. They can be large or small, but it is the intentions behind those actions that are important.
