The Interfaith Council received earmarked donations from Sacramento citizens and organizations and contributed $685 themselves for a total of $1,500 to the Food Bank Donation Fund.
On May 28, we presented a check for $500 to the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center and on May 29, we presented checks for $500 each to the Rancho Cordova Food Locker and the Elk Grove Food Bank.
We thank everyone who contributed to this worthwhile effort. In this time of unrest and chaos, there are many people out there who don’t have enough to eat.
