Hope: Finding Good in an Imperfect World

Hearts on Fire is a nine-day retreat in everyday life that offers the opportunity to nourish our faith and grow closer to God. This series consists of Masses with special reflections around a certain theme. This year the theme is Teach Us to be Generous,  based on St. Ignatius’ “Prayer for Generosity”. Masses feature music, a prayer to St. Francis Xavier, and prayers of petition and thanksgiving. We also offer individual blessings and the opportunity to pray with the relics of St. Francis Xavier.

If it is not possible for you to attend all nine days please try to come to some of them. The novena will be conducted within all our daily and weekend Masses. You will find this a wonderful way to start your Lenten season. The Novena begins Thursday, February 27, and will end Friday, March 6 at St. Ignatius Church, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento.
